BRADFORD – Vivianne (Eckhardt)
Booker, 93, wife of the late Rev. Clarence Booker, went Home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 20, 2015, at Orono Commons. She was born on October 3, 1921 in Waltham, MA, the daughter of the late Ernest and Marguerite Eckhardt. Vivianne graduated from Providence Bible Institute in Providence, RI in 1944 and there met Clarence, and they were married on June 8, 1946. They enjoyed the pastorate together in Holmes Bay, Corinth, Sebec, Hermon and Bradford. At the time of her death, Vivianne was a member of the Bradford Baptist Church, which is pastored by her son, Don. Vivianne was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-
grandmother and friend to many. She is survived by two sons and their wives, Bob and Avis and Don and Rachel, and one daughter and her husband, Carrie and Eric Gulbrandsen, six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, a sister, Yvonne, and a sister-in-law, Claire. A special thanks to Don and Rachel, and Wanda Freese and Orono Commons for their special care for Mom in her last few years. The Memorial Service will be held at the Bradford Baptist Church in Bradford on Tuesday, March 24, at 2:00 PM with Visitation at 1:00 PM until the time of the service. John Hoag and Dave Lassell will be officiating. There will be a private graveside service in the spring with grandson, Michael Booker, officiating.
