Obituary for Loraine Patricia Arnold

Loraine Patricia Arnold, 83, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on May 24, 2015, at a Bangor hospital after a brief illness. She was born November 22, 1931, in Brunswick the daughter of Dwight E. and Genevieve E. (Bibber) Walsh.

Her mission in life was caring for her dear and loving family. She so much loved spending time with all her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all of her family. Pat enjoyed playing Bingo and playing cards as well as telling stories. She had a laugh that was infectious, which in turn made you laugh. Pat attended the Twin City Baptist Church, Brewer. She will be dearly missed by her family and her wonderful friends.

She is survived by her children; Jeanie Gray and husband Buzz of Carmel, Richard Edward Arnold Jr. and wife Brenda of Scarborough, Michael Arnold and wife Linda of Bangor, Patti Dudley and husband John, Anntina Michaud and husband Steven, Angela Adams and husband John, all of Orono, Dennis Arnold and wife Krista of Lakeville, Minn; grandchildren, Scott Arnold and wife Lynn, Monica Perkins and husband Matt, Richie Gray, Heather Campbell and husband Matt, Mike Arnold II and wife Joarly, Wes Arnold, John Dudley and wife Ashley, Jordan Dudley, Katelyn and Casey Michaud, Mindy and Chad Adams, Jessica Mortdvedt and husband Jason, Bryant and Leah Arnold; great-grandchildren, Kyle and Kayla Gray, Chase Arnold, Cameron, Nathan, and Kelsey Perkins, Zachary and Alex Arnold, Olivia, Allie, and Reese Campbell, Ethan and Eli Dudley, Matthew Fluty, and Dylan Mortdvedt; a special brother-in-law, Edwin L. Roberts Jr.; Special nieces and nephews; and many dear friends including her friends at Marsh Island Apartments. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her loving husband Richard E. Arnold Sr. in 2001; three sisters, Ruby, Elizabeth, and June; and a brother, Murray. The family would like to thank St. Joseph Hospital and the staff of the fifth floor for the love and wonderful care that was given to Pat.

Friends may call from 6-8 PM, Wednesday, May 27, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center Street, Bangor, where a funeral service will be held 11 AM, Thursday, May 28, with Rev. Patrick Heuveline, Pastor of the Twin City Baptist Church, officiating. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith, 163 Center Street, Bangor, following the service.
