Bangor – Carline E. Caldwell, 80, passed away Monday, August 17, 2015, at a Bangor health care facility, surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 4, 1934, in Houlton, the daughter of Kenneth and Pauline (Gallop) Porter.

Carline was a wife, and a mother extraordinaire who loved to spend time in her garden. She took time to spend with her kids, whether it was to play badminton or trips to the lake. She was a friend as well as a Mom.

Before Carline had her stroke in 2001 she enjoyed traveling and spending winters in Florida. She was a hard worker who loved her kids, grandkids, and fur babies.

In addition to her parents, Carline was predeceased by her husband, Robert H. Caldwell; her brother Leonard Porter; and sister-in-law Pat Porter. She is survived by daughter Katrina Lezotte and husband Michael; son Kevin Rouse and wife Debbie; son Kendall Rouse; and daughter Kim McLaughlin and husband Leon. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Leslee, Adam, Sara, Katie, Justin, Jimmy, Evan, and Kacie; and great grandchildren Tyler, Alexis, Alise, and Ayla; and a very special friend, Bonnie Suitter.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday August 23, 2015 at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor. Relatives and friends are invited to call from 1:00 p.m. until time of service. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith, 163 Center St., Bangor following the service.
