HOLDEN – Earl J. Robinson, 86, died August 22, 2015 at a Bangor hospital. He was born March 26, 1929 in Millinocket, son of Ralph L. and Carrie E. (Sturgeon) Robinson.

Earl was a member of Teamsters Local 340 of South Portland. He will be remembered as an avid hunter and fisherman. He was also a member and Past President of Maine Bird Dog Club. Earl enjoyed sports, particularly watching the Boston Celtics and Red Sox.

Surviving are his wife, Janet (Taylor) Robinson of Holden; one daughter, Sharon McIntyre of Ellsworth; two grandchildren, Joshua McIntyre and Sarah Palmer; two great-grandchildren, Michael and Miles; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife, Mary (Bubar) Robinson, nine brothers and two sisters.

Relatives and friends are welcome to call 5 to 7pm Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at the Brewer Chapel of Brookings-Smith, 55 South Main Street, Brewer. Private interment will be in the Rowe Cemetery, Holden at a later date.
