Obituary for Eric Joseph Boucher

Hermon and Fort Kent -
Eric Joseph Boucher, 51, died unexpectedly Saturday, August 29, 2015 as the result of a motorcycle accident. He is survived by his sons Devin and Cole Boucher and his lifetime partner Chandra Rogers of Hermon, his mother Sadie Boucher of Fort Kent, brother Jeffrey Boucher and friend Donna Buckly of Florida, brother Terry Boucher and wife Linda Boucher of Connecticut, sister Linda Cyr and husband Carl Cyr of Fort Kent, sister Gloria Cyr and husband Marcel Cyr of Fort Kent, sister Diana Cyr and husband Robert Cyr of Connecticut, sister Jenny Theriault and husband Lee Theriault of Fort Kent, sister Grace Bergin and husband Daniel Bergin of Connecticut, brother Dalen Boucher and wife Denise Boucher of Fort Kent, and sister Claire Ouellette and husband Michael Ouellette of Connecticut. He is predeceased by his father Emery Boucher and brother-in-law James Levesque.
Eric grew up in Fort Kent. He drove truck and worked with forestry equipment for many years before becoming a heavy equipment mechanic, first at Caterpillar and most recently at Chadwick Baross. He was appreciated for his outstanding work, good humor, and genuine interest in helping and mentoring others. He was known to bring joy to the workplace by providing lots of laughs through his amusing antics.
Eric’s major hobbies consisted of anything with a fast motor. He loved snowmobiling and motorcycling, but his true passion was cruising up and down the Penobscot River or in Pushaw Lake in his boat.
Eric was the most wonderful companion, father and friend. His unique personality left him instantly loved and remembered by all. He’s described by his friends as someone that would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He will be dearly missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to call 5-7pm, Thursday, September 3, 2015 at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St. Bangor, where a funeral service will be held 11 am, Friday, September 4, 2015 with Rev.
