Obituary for Harold Bruce Pelletier

Harold Bruce Pelletier, 77, passed away at his home on Monday, November 16, 2015 with his loving wife Carol Ann and step-daughter Debra by his side. Bruce was born July 20, 1938 in Orono, son of Harold F. Pelletier and Anne P. (Degrasse) Pelletier.
Bruce is survived by his beloved wife Carol Ann (Oakes) Pelletier of Hampden and children Debra Thomas and her husband Al of Topeka, KS, Darlene Peden and her husband Larry of AL, Scott Pelletier of FL, Christine Gonzales and her husband Richard of VA, Susan Theriault and her husband Mark of West Enfield, Gary Pelletier of Bangor, Cindy Ezell of AL, Tony Pelletier and his wife Mary of Brewer; grandchildren Lee Peden and his wife Tia of AL, Ernestine Pelletier of FL, Mark and Monique Theriault of West Enfield, Brianna Gonzales of VA, Tyler and his wife Corinne, and Macy Tregellas, Alex and Alayna Thomas, all of Topeka, KS, and Nick Pelletier of Brewer; two great-grandchildren, Tyler Tregellas Jr. and Jaxson Tregellas, both of Topeka, KS, and many extended nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother James Pelletier, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Carroll E. and Helen L. Oakes of Bangor.

Bruce lived in Bangor for over 35 years. He married Carol Ann in 1982. Bruce had a very rewarding and successful career in the sales and marketing industry. He was able to travel the great state of Maine during his career. Bruce and his wife Carol Ann moved from Bangor in 2006 to Avalon Village Retirement Community in Hampden. During his 9 years at Avalon Village, Bruce was active playing pool, bridge, landscaping his yard, and building friendships there that he treasured and held very dear to his heart. Bruce was always known to be a kind, friendly, and always able to make you laugh. He was well respected personally and professionally and in the community he so enjoyed. Bruce will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
