Doris Marie  Roach
BANGOR - Doris Marie Roach, 81, loving wife of 37 years to the late James E. Roach, and the daughter of the late John and Josephine Bladen, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2016, at Ross Manor in Bangor. She was born on October 22, 1934, in West Brooksville, Maine, and graduated from Brooksville High school in 1950.

Doris was employed in the dietary departments at St Joseph's Hospital and EMMC, where she worked for more than 20 years. After retiring from EMMC, she worked at The Maine Tourism Association for five years.

Surviving children and grandchildren are John and Mary Roach, of Holden, Joseph and Cindy Roach, of Virginia, James and Cricket Roach, of Oregon, Tim Roach and Maria Mathos, of Brewer, Joanne and Norman Campbell, of Camden, Scott and Laurel Roach, of Bangor, Jeff and Carrie Roach, of Bangor, Steve Roach and Amy Hilbert, of Massachusetts; grandchildren, Brian, Laura, Sara, Erin, Emily, Sadie, Tessa, Jason, Norm, Joe, Paul, Lauren, Stephanie, Robbie, Meghan, Brianna, Alainna, Brady, Brendan and Alexis; great-grandchildren, Gannon, Ezekiel and Parker; numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. A special thank you to her niece Laurie Milan for all her support. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her sister, Virginia; and three brothers, Howard, John, and Harold.

The family invites relatives and friends to share in a gathering of remembrance with conversation and refreshments 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, September 20, 2016, at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith, 163 Center Street, Bangor.
