Obituary for Keith R. Downs
WINTERPORT – Keith R. Downs, 68, passed away December 8, 2016, at his residence. He was born February 7, 1948, the son of Delbert and Dorothy (Merrow) Downs.
In addition to his parents, Keith is predeceased by two brothers. Surviving in addition to his wife, Peggy, who was the love of his life and partner for 22 years, are a son, Keith Downs II; daughters, Cammy Parks, Kimberly Williams, and Keeley Downs; step-children, Wayne Flewelling, Ronald Flewelling, John Flewelling, and Wendy Robertson; 19 grandchildren, 2 great-grandsons, and his faithful puppy Bear. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Keith’s doctor, Dr. Heather Evans, and to the staff of Hospice of Eastern Maine.
In keeping with Keith’s wishes, services will be private to the family. Those who wish to remember Keith in a special way may make gifts in his memory to Winterport Ambulance Service, PO Box 724, Winterport, ME 04496. Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.BrookingsSmith.com
