BANGOR - Lillian I. Davis, 91, a devoted sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed peacefully in her sleep on June 10, 2017 at her daughter's home surrounded by family. Lillian was born April 1, 1926 in Bangor the daughter of Owen T. and Mildred (Corneil) Estey. Lillian grew up in Bangor, the third child in a family with five brothers. She married Thomas F. Davis Sr. and had two children, Rosemary and Tommy. Lillian worked for many years alongside Tom on their farm on the Kittredge Road in Bangor. When her children were grown, she established her own career as a Psychiatric Nurse at the Bangor Mental Health Institute. She spent her life caring for others. Lillian was a selfless woman who will be remembered for her devotion and love of family. She was an accomplished seamstress creating full wedding ensembles, coats, and gowns. Lillian handcrafted treasured heirlooms for three generations for her loved ones. Tom and Lillian enjoyed 67 years together attending UCT, square dances, K of C dances, and Greek balls with friends and family. Lillian was a communicant of St. John's Catholic Church and was a member of the Women's Council. Special thanks to the women of St. John's, Louise and Carol for their care and kindness to Lillian. She is survived by her daughter, Rosemary Fugel of Bangor; daughter-in-law, Donna Davis of Bangor; six grandchildren and their spouses will miss their Nanny, Cynthia and Michael Kasprzak of Bangor, Kathleen and Michael Kimball of South Portland, Garth Fugel and Teresa Page of Corinth, Tammy and Al Eriksson of Corinth, Bobbi and Paul Hosmer of Bangor, and Kelly and George Adam of Bangor. Great-grandchildren, Nick, Kayla, Ian, Mark, and Mary Kasprzak, Griffin and Holly Kimball, Faith Fugel, Kevin, Matt, Alyssa and Chris Eriksson, and Tommy Hosmer; brothers, Bernard and his wife Juanita Estey of Bangor, and Owen Estey and his wife Joan of Mapleton and Florida; many nieces and nephews. Lillian was predeceased by her husband, Thomas F. Davis, Sr.; son, Tom F. Davis Jr.; granddaughter, Katie Fugel; brothers, Irving, Richard, Raymond, and Charles Estey, and baby sister, Mildred. Relatives and friends are welcome to call from 1-2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor. A Funeral Mass will be held 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at St. Paul the Apostle Parish, St. John's Catholic Church, 207 York St., Bangor, followed by the rite of committal at Mt.
