Frederick William "Fred"  Lawless
BUCKSPORT – Fred William Lawless Sr., 84, passed away quietly on November 29th, 2017 in a Bangor Hospital. He was born March 14th, 1933 in Woodland Maine to Frank W. and Estella M. (Hatt) Lawless.

Fred enlisted to the United States Marine Corps when he came of age and was a very proud Veteran of the Korean War where he was awarded the purple heart. After returning home, Fred became a union laborer and worked as foreman on many construction sites. In his spare time, he loved to ride his motorcycle and joined the Bay Area Riders.

In addition to his parents, Fred was predeceased by his brothers, Harry, Frankie, Carl, and Tommy; sisters, Violet Hatton, and Dorothy Shute; grandson, Austin W. Ashmore; and son, Fred Lawless Jr.
Fred was survived by his sister, Margarie Amer of NH; and children, Janice Deans, and Shawna Loranger; as well as many nieces, nephews and grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, December 7th, 2017, at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 163 Mt Vernon Rd, Augusta. Condolences to the family may be expressed at BrookingsSmith.com
