Hampden- Andrew S. Cobb, 51, passed away peacefully May 16, 2012 at a Bangor hospital surrounded by his loving family. Andrew was born in Bangor December 28, 1960 to Ralph W. and Shirley R. (Giles) Cobb.
Andrew was a graduate of Hampden Academy and the University of Maine. He worked at Jackson Labs in Bar Harbor before working for the State of Maine as an environmental specialist for many years. Andrew enjoyed the outdoors, spending many hours hunting and fishing. He was a sports enthusiast, and had a great passion for watching and coaching baseball and playing golf. Andrew will be remembered as a loving son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend.
Andrew is survived by his father, Ralph W. Cobb, Sr.; his brother, Ralph W. Cobb, Jr., both of Hampden; his sister Scarlet Bezio of Bangor; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Andrew was predeceased by his mother Shirley and a brother Dale.
A graveside service celebrating Andrew's life will be held 10 A.M., Monday, May 21, 2012 at Lakeview Cemetery, Western Avenue, Hampden with the Rev. Brent Trueworthy officiating.
