Corinth and Kenduskeag – Anna E. Pinkham, 85, passed away peacefully December 14, 2011 surrounded by her loving family. Anna was born in Brewer September 8, 1925 to Ausba F. and Ellen B. (Stymiest) Pinkham.
The center of Anna's life was her family. She loved all her nieces and nephews as though they were her own children. She loved family get togethers during the holidays, especially Fourth of July and Christmas gatherings and always looked forward to a big lobster. Anna will be sadly missed and remembered as a loving sister, aunt, and friend.
Anna is survived by her sister Sarah Louise Ward of Corinth; nieces, Valerie Grant and husband Terry, Ellen Sanborn, Carol Hodge, Judy Dugal, Cheri Thomas and Lori Daigle; nephews, Fred, Jr., Terry, Dennis, Gary, Ausba, II, James, and John Pinkham; special great nieces and nephews, Scott Tilton, Kevin Tilton, Terri Jane Casavant, Wanda Poulin and Jason Grant and their children; her special niece Janie's husband, Danny Hurd, as well as several great nieces and nephews. Anna was predeceased by her parents, two brothers, Fred and Ausba, Jr., a sister Dorothy Thompson, and her special niece Janie Hurd.
A graveside service for Anna will be held 1 P.M., Friday, December 16, 2011 at Corinthian Cemetery, Corinth. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Anna's honor may be made to the Animal Orphanage, P.O. Box 565, Orono, ME 04473.
