Ronald C. Lennon, Sr.
Dixmont-Ronald Clifford Lennon, Sr., 81, passed away peacefully July 25, 2012 at his home in Dixmont surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Fort Fairfield, April 10, 1931 the son of Joseph and Crystal (Searles) Lennon.
Ronald was a longtime resident of Dixmont and plowed snow for the town for many years. He will be remembered as a dedicated and loving husband, father, grandfather and friend who always put his family first and foremost in his life.
Ronald was predeceased by his beloved wife, Anne Marie (Carlstrom) Lennon in 1998. He is survived by his children; Kathy C. Lennon of Dixmont, Ronald C. Lennon, Jr. of Jackson, Carrie J. Lennon and Donnie of Jackson and Scott E. Lennon and his wife Kelly of Corinna, sister, Connie Turcotte and her husband Lew of Lewiston, grandchildren; Michelle, Cricket, Devon, Derek, Miranda, Mindy and Jared, great-grandchildren; Maile, Julianna, Mykala and Bradley, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family and friends may visit 5-7 P.M., Monday, July 30, 2012 at Hampden-Gilpatrick Funeral Home, 45 Western Avenue, Hampden. Private family interment will be in Dixmont Corner Cemetery, Dixmont. In keeping with Ronald's care and concern for his community, in lieu of flowers contributions in his memory may be made to Neighbors Helping Neighbors, P.O. Box 100, Dixmont, Maine 04932.
