Daniel and I enjoyed visiting Aunt Hazel whenever we would take trips up to Maine. Once we took her down to Mt. Desert Island. She gave us a grand ole tour starting in Elsworth at River Street, went to Thompson Island and took us by the cemeteries where relatives are buried. She showed us where she was raised and showed us where Grammy Mabel grew up. We went on to Southwest Harbor and ate lunch at a local cafe downtown. We went on to Northeast Harbor and we were shown all the places Aunt Hazel used to play as a child. She said that trip down memory lane was the best time she had had in a long time. We loved hearing her laugh. She was a dear aunt to us. She lives on in our hearts!!! We love you Aunt Hazel for your dedication to living the gospel and your devotion to working on Family History!!!
