Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Robert Gamble can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

From his teacher

I was one of Bob's teachers years ago at Bangor High.  He was truly a gentle, kind and decent young man.  I am so sorry to hear of his passing.  How do you capture in a single story the warmth in a person's soul?  I don't know, but I'll relate one memory I have.  Bob had been feeling some pressure in class.  He told me that he felt he as falling behind and wanted to make sure he was keeping up.  We went over his grades and progress and I showed him that he was doing fine.  Bob seemed releived, but not for himself, he was worried that if he wasn't doing well he would have to cut back on working with some other students to teach games to less fortunate kids.  This was Bob, a kid who never had a lot himself, but who was concerned that he would not be able to help others as much as he wanted.  He put others first and even though I was his teacher, he taught me a lot.
